ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court is set to hear the federal government’s intra-court appeal challenging the verdict in the accountability law amendments case today (Tuesday). The first intra-court appeal was filed after the implementation of the Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) Act 2023. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday slammed the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights’ (OHCHR) statement on the repatriation of illegal foreigners and clarified that the process is being implemented as per the “applicable international norms and principles”. “The Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Plan (IFRP) applies to all illegal foreigners residing in Pakistan, irrespective of their nationality and country of origin. KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has extended another Rs500 million credit facility to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which would help the national flag carrier to normalise its flight operations in coming days. 132 Afghan refugees leave for UK

KARACHI: More than 132 Afghan refugees left Islamabad for Britain through the first special chartered flight. Under the supervision of British High Commission staff at the Islamabad airport, special category Afghan refugees left Islamabad.  All procedures were completed, including travel documents, for the special category of Afghan refugees going to the UK.
