Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz stole the spotlight with a dazzling solo goal, securing a 1-0 victory against RB Leipzig in a thrilling Champions League last-16 first-leg encounter. 

The Champions League match, filled with twists and turns, leaves the Spanish giants in a favourable position for the return leg on March 6.

Leipzig started energetically, with an early disallowed goal adding to the drama. Striker Benjamin Sesko’s apparent opener was ruled out after a VAR review, leaving both teams locked in a tense battle. Real gradually found their footing, and the 24-year-old Diaz, filling in for the injured Jude Bellingham, showcased his brilliance in the 48th minute.
